It was my first Christmas in a European country and I have to say the festive spirit here is amazing! You'll see real Christmas trees everywhere and over-the-top (in a super nice way) decorations in some major landmarks. The good thing is, these Christmas decorations will stay up every year in the same location with a few variation each year. Even if you missed it this year, you can for sure see it again with a different style in 2023. Here are a few of my favorite spots in London this year:
New Bond Street
My favorite spot has to be this Red bow installation at Cartier, New Bond Street. The Christmas Tree by Ralph Lauren and the red bow create a harmonious Christmas vibe in this luxurious district. What's not to love about it!
Another spot at new bond street is the Tiffany and Co's decoration. From last year's moonlight vibe to this year's dove style decoration. Tiffany and Co's surely doesn't miss!
Oxford Street & Regent Street
The twinkling angels hanging above Regent Street/ Oxford Street is an iconic festive spot in London. The lights light up at 3pm everyday. You can see it from 2nd of November till 8th of January, 2023. If you want a photo without crowds at night, you have to be there at around 9/10 pm! Or if you want a day light picture, you can get it early in the morning too! Don't worry, these angels will be up again in late 2023 if you didn't see them this year.
Covent Garden
Covent garden is a market place which has different shops, market stalls and restaurants. Every Christmas, this place turns into a Christmas fiesta. This year, you will be able to see a giant disco ball spinning and casting silver lights all around the hall, a Santa's sleigh and massive mistletoes hanging on the hall's ceiling!
Another cool thing at Covent garden is their real Christmas tree. It is 60 ft tall and it's sparkling in red and silver at night!
There are a few more places in London where you can see the festive light decoration but these are my favourite spots! Which one would you like to visit?
